Great Opening Messages for Guys on Dating Apps

As mentioned countless times in our guide and other articles, the ratio of women to men on dating apps is pretty low. Women get bombarded by likes, messages and even matches every day.

A simple “hey”, “how are you”, “whats up” is going to get your ignored 99% of the time. And the 15 that do respond tend to be unattractive, not looking to actually date/meet you, or have some major self esteem/red flags.

Your message should be a good balance between being:

  • Fun & witty & cute
  • Short and not too long
  • Will stand out and lead to a response
  • Not too forward and sexual
  • Definitely NOT a dick pic

          There are hundreds if not thousands of good messages and ways to stand out but remember the key is to NOT BE BORING and balance without being too forward. It should feel almost like a dance.

          Its also a good chance for you to WEED OUT WOMEN WHO WILL WASTE YOUR TIME.
